Strings by the Sea, August 4-8, 2008
Prerequisites and requirements
Campers attending Strings by the Sea must be studying privately with a Suzuki teacher who has participated
in Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) teacher training, and who is registered as a Suzuki teacher with the
SAA or is currently a teacher trainee.
A parent (or other adult guardian) MUST accompany children
7 years old or younger to all classes.
Placement
If campers are less than half-way through their current
book, they will be scheduled for the Repertoire Class (and possibly
other classes) of their previous book. This is to ensure maximum
participation by all students. If your child reaches the half-way point after their
enrollment has been submitted and wishes to particpate in classes for
their current book, you must call Karla
Holland-Moritz at 858-277-7543 by June 15th, 2008.

your child in the most appropriate classes. Tuition
All-day sessions are $360.00 per camper. Pre-Twinkle Half-Day
sessions are $200.00 per camper, and available to children
who have not yet reached their 6th birthday by August
4th, 2008 and who are not yet playing Lightly Row.
Campers who are not 7 years old by August 4th, 2008 and who
have advanced beyond Lightly Row may also opt for the shorter day

Enrollment Deadline is June 15th, 2008. Early enrollment
is advised. A late fee of $45.00 will be added to all
enrollments received after June 15th, 2008. We may be unable
to schedule
late enrollees into Chamber Music Ensembles, so please enroll
before June 15th, 2008.
A very limited number of need-based partial work scholarships, for those students who would
not be able to attend without assistance, may be available through Strings by the Sea.
